Sweeten Your Step- "Grey": Grey is a 1999 Thoroughbred mare, 15.3 hands. She has been shown at Chagrin Valley Farms and Andrews School in hunter events and has done well. She is good about picking proper distances with minimal help from the rider. Grey needs a little more confident rider because she can be strong at the canter, but she has shown much improvement and response to the rider with a regular work schedule. She has an easy flying change and with just a little strength could show at least 2nd level dressage. She has good lateral work, and again, does better when in regular work.
Grey is Jockey Club registered and has her "T" number for AQHA breeding. According to her previous owner, she was bred, but we do not have any information on her foal.
Grey would make a very nice 4H or Pony Club horse. $3500 obo.

Wolita- 2003 KWPN Star mare, Keur eligible, by Haarlem out of a Notaris mare. She is in foal to the Oldenburg stallion Sagnol, a Sandro Hit son, for a 2012 foal. Her 2011 colt by the same sire is tall, leggy, and has very good movement. Wolita has schooled through 3rd level, shown through FEI 6 Year Old and has shown at Devon and local shows in Ohio and Wisconsin. She was imported in 2006 and has only had two owners, one being her breeder.
She has spent many months with FEI trainer Dr Cesar Parra and has progressed well with her dressage training. She is not a schoolmaster, but she is tolerant enough for someone looking to move up from training level riding. She has given riding lessons to teenagers, and can be ridden bareback with ease- Sara rides her without a saddle more often than with a saddle. I have not taken her on the trails, nor do I plan on taking her on the trails, so I cannot comment on how she would be on the trails. I do not trail ride show horses.
She has also been started over jumps and has gone over 3'6" fences.
Wolita can be sold with or without the foal. The foal, which will be registered KWPN, is also available for sale in utero. Please inquire for price.
With foal, Wolita is $25,000 obo.

Greatest Hit- 2011 KWPN Colt, Sagnol x Wolita - Haarlem. "Jasper" was born in July 2011 and is a big, tall, exceptional-moving colt that has potential for both dressage and jumping. He is very athletic and has started groundwork, including lunging and loading in the trailer. He is so nice he is a possible stallion candidate.
Jasper's sire Sagnol is a talented black/bay dressage horse in Canada. Sagnol is young, but his foals are already competing and doing well in the US and Canada- Jasper should be no exception. Jasper's dam Wolita was an accomplished dressage horse before becoming a broodmare, having shown Dressage at Devon and many other shows in Region 2 as a young horse. She went undefeated in the FEI 5 year old test. From the same damline as Jasper, Elita is proving to have super trainability and temperament as she is broke out under saddle.
Jasper would be a wonderful addition to any breeding program or ambitious rider's program.
$12,000 obo.

Good Eye Sniper- Sniper is a 2010 registered APHA red roan overo/sabino colt out of the farm's stallion Tuff Up Chocoholic. Sniper is extremely calm and level headed and will make a nice western pleasure horse once broke out. He is a late season foal, so is a little smaller than the rest of his age category, but should mature to be 15-15.1 hands (sire 15.3, dam 14.3)
Even though Sniper has a bald face, he does have brown eyes.
Sniper lunges, ties, bathes, leads, picks up his feet, and is learning to be clipped. His is a barn favorite, and will make someone a nice stallion with his color, temperament, and trainability.
$2000.

Tuff Up Skywalker- "Luke" is a 2011 Registered APHA chestnut overo/sabino colt by Tuff Up Chocoholic out of FDF Karosel Skykat. Like his full brother Good Eye Sniper, Luke is a late foal so will be a bit smaller than his age group until they all stop growing. Luke is incredibly well marked, has blue eyes, and should mature to be 15.1-15.2 (he was born slightly bigger than his full brother).
Luke leads and is learning to lunge, tie, and will be weaned in December.
Luke would make an excellent stallion prospect with his color, temperament, and trainability.
$2000.

Jalapeno- Hallie is a 1996 Draft Cross mare, eligible to be registered AWS, grey, 15.3 hands. Hallie is good for light riding only due to Asthma. She was our lead trail horse from 1999 until 2010, when it became too difficult for her to be ridden for many hours per day. She can still go on the trails, just not for long periods of time.
Hallie would make an excellent broodmare for warmbloods or hunter horses. She was shown 2'6" hunters before health problems ended her show career and was an amazing hunter with an even pace and good snap to her knees over fences.
Hallie does best when kept outdoors. If kept in a dusty barn too long, she will have issues breathing. She does better when her hay is wetted down before eating it, but is a very easy keeper- she can eat hay and live outside without any issue.
Regrettably for sale due to downsizing the herd. $500 obo.
